Welcome

Cooking and Eating Better Together

There are people in our community who are isolated or lonely, who don’t have easy access to fresh, healthy food or who lack the confidence to cook – we want to change that.

How we support our community

We welcome people in and around Bath to cook and enjoy meals with us through our varied workshops, community meals and events.

Community Meals

We bring people together to sit down and share delicious and healthy meals - strengthening community ties and tackling isolation, loneliness and hunger. Our community meals are free and open to all.

We host community meals in the areas of highest deprivation within Bath and North East Somerset, including Twerton and Radstock, and we work with local food producers and suppliers to use surplus ingredients that would otherwise go to waste.

What our volunteers, supporters and participants say

Background 2_edited.jpg

“It has been an absolutely fulfilling experience. I’m a survivor of domestic abuse. My whole identity was stolen from me. My confidence was, and sometimes still is, compromised. I have no confidence in the kitchen, I never have. I have a long way to go. But, with the support from BCK it’s given me the opportunity to work with amazing creative chefs that can give me and others the chance to shine for who they are.”

Together, we can tackle loneliness, isolation and hunger in our community

Support our events, donate or volunteer. All support - big or small - is welcome.
